I'm a business leader, a mother, a yogi, a chef, a traveler, and someone who believes that the fullest version of a life is one where all of those things coexist — loudly, messily, and beautifully.

I don't believe in keeping the different parts of yourself in separate boxes. This site is my attempt to integrate it all — to show up as one whole person, not a curated highlight reel.

The work

Building things that matter.

I'm the Director of Business Development at NationBuilder, where I help organizations build real relationships with the people they serve. I came to this work through ActionButton — a company I built and led as Executive Director until NationBuilder acquired it in 2021.

Before that, I spent years in media, tech, and enterprise sales learning how people connect, why they engage, and what makes movements actually move. I care deeply about the intersection of technology and human connection — and about building tools that make it easier for communities to show up for each other.

The life

All of it, not just the career part.

Outside of work, I'm a mother — which has been the most humbling, expanding, and transformative thing I've ever done. I practice yoga because it reminds me to breathe when life gets loud. My grandmother Vijayalaxmi — Amma — planted that seed in me, and I carry her lineage with every practice.

I cook because feeding people is one of the most direct ways I know how to love them. I travel because I need to be reminded, often, how big and varied and generous the world is. I'm based in the DC-Baltimore area, but home is wherever my people are.

My grandmother Vijayalaxmi Anand — Amma — was my first teacher. She showed me that a life of depth and devotion isn't separate from a life of joy. The yoga, the cooking, the way I move through the world — so much of it traces back to her.
